Paddling Opportunities
Dragon Boat USA is committed
to offering opportunities to those interested in all paddles sports, not just
Dragon Boating. Here are a few:
- Currently, Dragon
Boat USA is working with USA Canoe / Kayak (USACK) to provide unique
experiences that go well beyond the discipline of Dragon Boat Racing. USACK is
in the process of launching an initiative known as the National Talent ID
program for youth and as this program develops, Dragon Boat USA is dedicated
helping this initiative by offering youth the opportunity to explore even the
Olympic Disciples offered through USACK. Please let us know if the USACK
National Talent ID program interests you and we will be happy to provide
additional information.

Dragon Boat USA is
also actively encouraging Clubs to consider participating in the ICF
World Club Crew Championships this July 2011 in Toronto, CA . Those
interested in making a commitment to participate must be Dragon Boat USA or
USACK members as do the clubs competing.

Crews will be competing in the following divisions in in Toronto this July:
Youth Men (ages 15-18)
Youth Mixed (ages 15-18)
Youth Women (ages 15-18)
Senior Men (all ages - best
of the best)
Senior Mixed (all ages - best
of the best)
Senior Women (all ages - best
of the best)
Master Men (ages 40 +)
Master Mixed (ages 40 +)
Master Women (ages 40 +)
All divisions will race 200m,
500m and 2000m races in 20 person boats.
Men and women categories 200 and 500 in 10 person boats.

USA below if you are interested in holding a Mini Camp, participating at
the ICF World Club Crew Championships or simply have an interest
in the USACK National
Talent ID program.
Race
Organizers can also take
advantage by offering programs which utilize programs offered through
Dragon Boat USA by tailoring a program which may compliment your event
in an effort to help
enhance the participants experience.

Saturday racing
Sunday Team USA Trials for National Team competing in Milan, Italy
